Day 23 - Nutrient Dense Healing Foods

Upon Waking - Drink pint Glass of Water

Morning Drink - ABC Juice
Apple
Beats
Cucumber



Morning Food - Sesame Bar & an Orange  (see day16 for sesame bar recipe)



Mid-morning drink - Water

mid-morning food - NA

Lunchtime drink - More  ABC Juice

lunchtime food - Brown rice cracker, goats cheese, tomato, and basil with a big bunch of Coronation purple grapes.   So good!


Afternoon Drink - Blueberry Chia Almond Protein Smoothie
Blueberry chia bowl
Banana
2 tblsp of Almond Butter
*Blend in Vitmamix.  Set aside half in a large cup.
Add a cup of organic blueberries
*Blend the rest with a bunch of organic blueberries to make a darker color. Layer the two into your cup, sprinkle with blueberries on top. And enjoy this filling healthy meal!




Afternoon Food - Watermelon Popsicle

Dinnertime Drink - Water

Dinnertime Meal -  Zucchini tomato Frittata
Left over Zucchini Lasagna Planets (See day 19 for Lasagna Planets). 
Organic Cheese
Organic Eggs
*Process the left over Zucchini Lasagna Planet for a few seconds until all chopped apart.   Lay in bottom of cast iron pan.  Break eggs on top and stir together.   Add Cheese to top (Parmesan or raw milk cheddar). Bake at 350 for 20 minutes.  Then broil for 10.   Enjoy! 

 

 




Evening Drink - Chamomile Tea

Day 22 - The Healing Earth Foods Diet

Upon Waking - Drink pint Glass of Water

Morning Drink - Spinach, cucumber, cantaloupe smoothie
Handful of spinach
Half Cantaloupe
1 Cucumber
*Blend in Vitamix until Velvety Smooth.   So good even my picky eater will drink it!



Morning Food - Eggs with Toast
I normally don't eat toast (or any grains with gluten at all) but if I do, I chose the healthiest kind that is the most unprocessed and whole -- organic 100% sprouted whole grains, and butter it with organic ghee.





Mid-morning drink - NA

mid-morning food - NA

Lunchtime drink - Water

lunchtime food - Zucchini Noodle with Avocado lime sauce and smoke salmon
Organic Zucchini
1 ripe organic avocado
1/2 lime
A few pieces of organic coconut meat
Coconut water
Pink Salt
*Blend it vitamix until smooth.  Pour over Noodles.  Add some fresh mint to the top and smoked salmon.  Enjoy.





Afternoon Drink -

Afternoon Food - Carrot Thia Soup
Carrot Juice Pulp (left over)
Can organic Coconut Milk
Thumb size organic ginger
Thai Curry spice
1/2 lime
Coconut Water or filtered spring water to thin out.
*Blend in Vitamix for about 5 minutes, until velvety smooth and warm. Garnish with sprinkle of dried coconut. Serve and enjoy!

Dinnertime Meal -  2 Peaches on the beach

 

Evening Drink - Lemon Crush

Juice and enjoy the tart sweet heaven! So delicious.

Homemade guacamole

Healthy Cherry Ice-Cream
*The one discovery that has changed my dessert life -- is discovering that frozen banana's (yes, one ingredient!) can become the most delicious ice-cream ever.   This is a 3 ingredient ice-cream recipe to die for:
Frozen bananas
Frozen cherries
A little bit of homemade almond milk to soften.
*Process in food processor until soft ice-cream and serve immediately.   Oh my goodness!

Day 21 - Healing Earth Diet

Morning Drink -  Strawberry Chia Green Smoothie

Handful of garden organic Spinach
One jar of chia breakfast pudding (see recipe day 20)
Extra strawberries
Coconut Water
Filtered Spring Water
(Blend and serve immediately.)   Very tasty!



A successful shopping trip at the farmer's market for some local produce to eat this week.

Day 20 - Nutrient Dense Healing Earth Foods from the earth

Upon Waking - Drink pint Glass of Water

Morning Drink - Pear Ginger Juice
*See recipe from day 19


Morning Food - Chia Seed Breakfast pudding
2 scoops organic chia seeds
1 scoop organic hemp seeds
Different varieties of fruit
Honey
Almond Milk (homemade). Almonds, filtered water, 4 medjool dates, cinnamon, vanilla. Blend and strain.
*Layer in jar. Pour almond milk overtop. Seal, shake well, and refrigerate overnight.














*This recipe did not turn out as well as I hoped.  It wasn't quite sweet enough and it required more liquid as it was too hard in the morning.  So I scooped it out, added some more almond milk and a little honey, and it was good to go. I will perfect this recipe next time.  Maybe a mashed banana would give it a little sweetness without the sweetener being added.  I have a few more jar to figure this out with!






Mid-morning drink - Carrot Almond Frap
1/2 Carrot juice
1/2 Almond milk
Stir and enjoy.   YUM!
